We were recently commissioned to do the programming, schematic liturgical design, and art for what will become the largest Catholic parish church in the United States—St. Charles Borromeo in the Diocese of Fresno, located in Visalia, CA. The new church is designed to seat 3,200 people and serve as the main worship site for the 14,000-family Good Shepherd Catholic Parish.
Over the course of four intense months, our team produced nearly 390 renderings and planning documents to help Pastor Fr. Alex Chavez and his committee realize their vision. Together, we developed a plan that merges Mission-style architecture with Renaissance-inspired sacred art—creating a space that will be both grand and welcoming.
Stay tuned as we move into the design development phase of this landmark project!
