Behind the altar, a heavenly mural of Our Lady surrounded by adoring angels fills the space with her grace and presence. Above, a painting of the young God the Father (Pater Noster) radiates divine light and compassion, while the Seven Sorrows of Mary, depicted throughout the church, reflect the deep moments in her life that resonate with Christ’s passion.
These inspiring works began as simple sketches and evolved through various stages of color renderings, both small and large. Each detail was thoughtfully refined through multiple iterations. Once approved, the murals found their final form, lovingly painted on canvas and applied to the walls and ceiling, offering all who enter a glimpse of the divine.
Our work continues to enrich the parish’s sacred space. After restoring several statues in our Pittsburgh studio, artist Renate Rohn delivered, installed, and applied final touches on site—including the figure of Michael the Archangel located to the right of the altar. Now, Rolf is collaborating with church leadership and a renowned stained glass studio in Italy to bring to life a new stained glass window honoring the same protector. Together, these complementary artworks create a powerful presence, with Michael chosen as Heaven’s guardian—representing steadfast strength and courage that nurture and uphold the parish community.
We invite you to witness this sacred transformation in person or by viewing the consecration Mass here, where artistic expression and devotion come together in a profound celebration of Christ.
