Rohn, Trusted Name in Catholic Church Design and Sacred Art, Has Strong Showing at CCFM 2017
Rohn & Associates Design Inc., a founding member of the
Conference for Catholic Facility Management, had a strong showing at this
year’s conference in Miami, Florida, in April. In keeping with the conference’s
goal of contributing to the effectiveness and strength of the Catholic Church
by providing professional training, networking, and advocating the highest
standards of work, the Rohn team presented some of their work to an
enthusiastic and faithful stream of attendees.
Visitors were in awe of Rohn’s new conference booth
presenting the sanctuary of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Austin, Texas, which was
created under the direction of Rolf Rohn and features a record-setting,
seventy-two-foot round mosaic dome. Forums such as CCFM offer a valuable opportunity to hear directly from facility managers about their day-to-day challenges and to present tailored solutions through a multimedia display featuring a wide range of projects.
Rolf Rohn said, “the most rewarding part of our time in
Miami was seeing people we’ve known and worked with over the past thirty years,
as well as meeting new people who we will work with in the future.”
We hope all attendees leave the conference with a renewed commitment to consider liturgical, hospitality, and devotional needs when addressing regulations, maintenance, renovations, and restorations of Catholic facilities—spaces that embody the spirit of the Church.
