Working on Stations of the Cross is always a spiritual experience. Rohn & Associates was honored to customize a set created by a celebrated stone artisan as part of the renewal project we completed at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Houston, TX. Liturgical Designer Rolf Rohn, who owns the molds of the Stations used on this project, cast and redesigned them to produce a contemporary representation that complements the renovated environment. Gold accents and shadows enhance the presentation of the Passion of our Lord, with each Station perfectly illuminated by custom lighting designed by Rolf to highlight the art, liturgical actions, and church interior.
The Catholic tradition of sacred art is a naturalistic representation of our faith. Properly executed Stations of the Cross inspire the faithful and convey the love Jesus has for each of us by enduring his Passion to save us. We are blessed to have had the opportunity to honor the Patron Saint of Priests and St. John Vianney's theme of "Deo Optimo Maximo": To God, the best, the greatest!
