Working on Stations of the Cross is always a spiritual experience. Rohn & Associates, specialists in liturgical design and sacred art, led the sanctuary renovation of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Houston, with Rolf Rohn directing the liturgical design for the entire project. He cast and reinterpreted the Stations of the Cross, creating a contemporary version that complements the renovated environment. Gold accents and carefully placed shadows highlight the Passion of our Lord, with each Station illuminated by custom church lighting to enhance the art, liturgical actions, and overall worship experience.
The Catholic tradition of faith-inspired artistry reflects the story of our beliefs in a tangible, visual form. Properly executed Stations of the Cross artwork in Catholic churches and chapels inspire the faithful and convey the love Jesus has for each of us by enduring His Passion to save us. These Stations guide parishioners in prayer and reflection, helping them connect more deeply with the story of Christ’s sacrifice and its significance in their own lives. We are blessed to have had the opportunity to honor the Patron Saint of Priests and St. John Vianney's theme of "Deo Optimo Maximo": To God, the best, the greatest!
