After a series of collaborative reviews with the St. John Vianney team, Liturgical Designer Rolf Rohn and his team designed an impressive serpentine floor that pulled the chapel, narthex and church together. Reflecting the Christian theme of journey from Baptism to Eucharist, it also accented the Christian virtues in beautiful mosaics. A new crucifix, statuary, Stations of the Cross, and harmonious liturgical furniture were designed by experts from Rohn & Associates Custom Studio.
The teams worked in concert to develop inspiring designs and implement them. Graphic Designer Maria Hubbard provided 3D interior views that helped the parish envision the finished project and help raise funds. Liturgical Interior Designer Kathy Maglicco directed the interior design efforts that included complementary interior finishes and materials with help from Rohn’s specialty suppliers.
If the newly completed three-dimensional and awe-inspiring Stations are a good indication of how the rest of the project will turn out, there is no question that this project could set a standard for the entire diocese. The chapel and adoration chapel are scheduled be finished by May 2016 with the entire project completed by August 2016.
