For the last seven years, Rohn and Associates has been designing and implementing the sacred liturgical, devotional, and iconographic requirements at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Austin, TX, with their Art & Environs Committee. Liturgical Designer Rolf Rohn carefully modified the previous preliminary architectural
drawings to provide interior architectural and liturgical harmony within the sanctuary. The crown jewel of the project is a
record-breaking 76’ diameter dome mosaic overlooking the sanctuary and assembly that will promote the church’s theme, “Trinity through the Cross” (identified and developed with the Art & Environs Committee). Once completed, the dome will be
the largest mosaic in Texas and one of the ten largest in the United
States.
Check back often for updates and stunning photos as we complete the various stages of this project.
